"Until the appointment of the coast, stopping en route at a moose to see banana processing at del Monte. We can't go inside but we can take pictures outside, can look at the process-I found it interesting at least!
Reached the river port and on board a boat on the river head until I arrive at the Lodge at tortogoiro National Park. The trip was a bit of rain, disappointing we thought they were traveling. Arriving at the lodge, dashed for cover and enjoy the welcome cocktail (well, who wouldn't)?, then went to our rooms .... It was quite a walk got wet. Few know, the first several days of wet.
We had planned a full day of tours, but rain put paid to that. There was a bird walk on its own but I wake up and listen to the rain ... So I went back to sleep. Very heavy rains, where we spent Thursday morning around the hotel, and the use of the Internet has made it easier for me. At lunch, stop the rain we had hoped, so we planned a trip boat followed by Auto trip. Well, we got the boat .... The heavens opened. … However, we went (mad dog woalankliz and all) and I was surprised at how wildlife actually see. We saw kabachins, basilisks, and river otter (very rare) and many birds like aigrates wetokans. Still raining, transfer to the boat, and went further upstream, bird watching and Cayman Islands. Although I got wet and cold, good evening. Dinner was (like all meals), lovely hot buffet with a nice hot cup of tea!! Cocktail in the bar good approximation in the evening, before an early night.
So again at 6 am and then on the boat to head upriver towards arinal .... Still raining, but at least the light we can have both sides of the boat, so we can see the views. On the road, we had to stop at the border with Nicaragua (Nicaragua lost control of the river which passes between 2) small farms and then stopped for lunch. It's a beautiful place, and right on the River, and an additional bonus walsnor nutrition were monkeys in the Zoo! I spend a lot of time, exercise your camera there. Nice lunch and then went back to the boat ... Find the car that wouldn't work. So we waited for hours to come and rescue boat, they adopted our cars we ngani to port. Slightly better than the trip wildlife viewing – we've seen the American alligator management and three wishes! 2 types of new for me. Julio (our driver) was waiting with the coach a little, and we drove into La Fortuna, the base for our next section of the journey.
Now, this unusual rains, there are depressions in the Gulf of Mexico, then all this rain. Rain continued throughout the next few days, with short rest period! "
